Welcome to FACTS - Felixstowe Area Community Transport Scheme

FACTS is a service devoted to helping disabled and mobility impaired people to get away from the four walls of home, to visit the supermarket, get to the surgery, to see friends or relations, or to attend club meetings We also arrange weekend excursions and evenings at the theatre. Our Mini-bus is a well-known sight around the town as we cater for more than 200 regular users, many of whom regard us as their lifeline to the outside world.

Our 'Dial a Ride' bus is a Volkswagen LT35, and our "Kestrel" pictured at the top of the page takes care of Group Hire work and acts as reserve for the Dial a Ride service.

Our third vehicle is the wheelchair accessible Renault Kangoo. This allows us to transport those passengers who need to travel in their wheelchair but whose journey can't be made using the Dial a Ride service. The lastest addition is a Peugeot 'Expert' which does similar work.
